Terms and Conditions
All orders placed on our website are subject by the purchaser to acceptance of our terms & conditions set out below.
All goods ordered are subject to payment approval by our payment methods listed on our website at the checkout. Credit card orders will only be accepted providing the address of the cardholder is given and a valid contact number.
Computer Bargains are under no obligation to fulfil any order and accepts no responsibility for any loss caused by a failed card payment or any other payment method that appears in our opinion to be fraudulent or fails our own security checks.
All prices are based in sterling and include VAT at 20%. Delivery is free for certain items and mainland UK only. We will contact you should there be any additional charges before shipping your goods and if these additional charges are not accepted by the purchaser then the order will be cancelled.
Any additional charges will be shown at the checkout before finalising your order or we will contact you.
Goods sent outside of the UK are not subject to VAT and although VAT may be included in the price at the checkout, it will be deducted when payment is taken and you will be invoiced accordingly. Computer Bargains Ltd are not responsible for any duty, customs charges and VAT when shipping abroad. We are also not responsible for any carriage charges for returned goods and repairs or replacements shipped outside the UK.
Cancellation of Your Order
Upon acceptance of your order you may cancel at any time between placing your order and up to 7 days after receipt of the goods. Cancellation must be made by email, or by contacting our Customer Services Department on 0161 723 2222.
Returned items must be returned carriage paid with 48 hours upon notification. They must be complete, unused and in the exact same condition as originally shipped.
Where goods have been returned in used condition a 20% restocking fee will apply. Any items that appear to have been used or damaged will not be refunded and returned to the sender.
All goods will be refunded within 14 days of your notification of cancellation of your order or receipt of your returned item. The refund will be paid back to the original payment method used.
Unless otherwise stated in the product description, all brand new goods are supplied with a one year manufacturer’s warranty. Details will be enclosed with the goods. Computer Bargains Ltd accepts no responsibility for any losses incurred when dealing with the manufacturer in accordance with their warranty terms.
2nd User and refurbished goods are supplied with 3 months, 6 months or 1 year warranty and details are shown on the product description page.
Should the product carry a return to base warranty then the product may be returned back to ourselves in accordance with our RMA Procedures set out below.
The warranty does not apply to items which have been subject to damage or wear & tear. Printer cartridges, batteries, screens, keyboard wear etc. and other faults caused by accident, neglect and misuse eg. broken hinges, screen catches & smashed screens or any broken plastic parts. Software is also not covered by warranty.
Unless goods sold are supplied with a manufacturers international warranty any warranties supplied by Computer Bargains Ltd. do not apply outside the mainland UK.
Return of Faulty Goods
Should your goods develop a fault within the first 7 days of purchase, Computer Bargains Ltd. will collect your item and send out a replacement after receipt of your defective item Advance replacements will not be issued. Should the defective item appear not to be defective then a fee of £30+VAT will be charged to cover carriage and labour costs. This only applies to mainland UK. Goods overseas or not in the mainland UK have to be returned at the expense of the customer. Computer Bargains Ltd are not responsible for any customs and duty charges and return shipping.
Reporting A Fault
To report a fault you may contact our Technical department on 0161 723 2222 or email email@example.com You will then be issued with an RMA number. Please ensure that the RMA number is clearly marked on the outer box. Returned items should be sent to the address on your invoice with proof of purchase and a letter stating the exact fault of the item. It is the customer’s responsibility that goods are returned in the condition they were sold in, as Computer Bargains Ltd accepts no liability for goods damaged or lost in transit and for any loss of data and inconvenience caused. Goods will only be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Computer Bargains Ltd. We aim to repair goods within 10 days however some repairs may take up to 28 days.
